《為什么貧窮？》劇情簡介
貧富不均對社會有什么影響？窮人真能掌握自己的未來？國際非營利組織STEPS INTERNATIONAL 所推動的《為什么貧窮？》（Why Poverty?）跨媒體計劃，參與協同制作工作，與全球同步播出一系列探討21世紀貧窮問題的紀錄片?！ 稙槭裁簇毟F？》是由總部位于丹麥的國際非營利組織STEPS INTERNATIONAL推動的非商業計劃。Steps曾在2007年推動過《為什么要民主？》（Why Democracy?）。而《為什么貧窮？》即以此為基礎，希望用影片刺激大眾討論貧窮問題；計劃共同發起人還有英國廣播公司（BBC）和丹麥廣播公司（DR），這兩家電視臺也是本計劃的主要合作伙伴和推動者?！ ∵@計劃邀請了來自世界各地的紀錄片導演，以“為什么貧窮”為共同題目，拍攝了每集一小時共八集的紀錄片，讓世界共同思考貧窮問題，探討全球10億赤貧人口的過去與未來。本系列紀錄片于2012年11月起全球播放，臺灣PTS與英國BBC、美國PBS、日本NHK、香港RTHK等在內的70余家電視臺均加入聯合播出，估計觀眾總數超過 5 億人。
